Litigation paralegal

Cynthia Brown is a litigation paralegal. She supports attorney Chase A. Adams in different areas of civil litigation. Her skills include completing, submitting, and storing all pertinent legal documentation, helping communication among parties remain clear and consistent, and any other tasks that come her way. In her spare time, Cynthia can be found spending time with her family.

She loves the Pacific Northwest, and between road trips, the scenery, and the local music and art, her appreciation has only grown. Besides coastal cities, her favorite place to be is anywhere she can show up as a Utes fan!

Erika Sylvia

Litigation paralegal

Erika Sylvia works as a litigation paralegal supporting attorneys with medical malpractice and personal injury cases. Her skills include managing client deadlines, clear communication, and ensuring a case has her personal attention from litigation to trial. Her emphasis on connecting with clients and ability to take quick action for resolution make her a valuable asset to any case.

In her spare time, Erika can usually be found at the softball/baseball fields cheering on her kids and enjoying the mountains with her family.

Karen Meneses

Intake Specialist & Office Manager

Karen has been an integral part of Steele Adams Hosman since its inception. As a bilingual Spanish speaker, she oversees all aspects of client intake, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for every individual who walks through the doors. Most of all, she helps clients feel supported and heard after a traumatic injury. In addition to her administrative duties, Karen is an active member of various networking groups, holding leadership positions to empower and support other professionals.

Family and service are huge parts of Karen’s life, when not at work, Karen enjoys exploring local coffee shops, indulging in a good book, and cheering on her son at his sporting events. She also finds joy in crafting beautiful flower arrangements, camping under the stars, hitting the slopes during ski season, and actively participating in community service initiatives.

Gonzolo Barragan

Pre-Litigation paralegal

Gonzalo Barragan is a pre-litigation paralegal for personal injury cases. His fluency in Spanish helps him represent more clients and provide accessibility to the legal system. His skills include supporting early-stage clients by resolving questions and concerns, preparing demands, compiling liability and medical documentation, negotiating cost reductions, and finalizing settlement disbursements. Gonzalo came to Steele Adams Hosman with over 14 years of experience in the legal field and has been invaluable in taking cases to trial.

In his spare time, he is actively involved in the Legacy Initiative Team, a charity in partnership with Make A Wish, where he sees firsthand the impact of fundraising in the community. He engages with his creative side by creating beautiful cakes and other dishes or designing movie-worthy costumes for professional cosplay. He is a proud husband and father of three.

Mary Nostrom

Litigation Paralegal

Mary Nostrom works as a litigation paralegal. She enjoys fighting for clients and developing trusting relationships by closely listening to each client’s story. She finds immense pride in her spiritual and moral foundation which helps her lead with empathy in each case. Outside the legal field, Mary is a wife and a mother to three beautiful girls. Her favorite pastimes are coaching her daughters’ softball teams and appreciating nature while skiing on Utah’s slopes.

Rhett Hosman

Marketing Director

Rhett Hosman is the Marketing Director for Steele Adams Hosman. His previous experience includes sales operations in the building materials, natural gas, and mortgage industries. While working in various roles, he developed a passion for improving each level of the business process. It was this passion that led him to his career working for a law firm committed to helping people recover physically, emotionally, and financially from catastrophic injuries.

He enjoys building connections with clients and ensuring that they understand the legal process and the benefits of this firm. Rhett wants clients to know at Steele Adams Hosman they’re valued as partners and are encouraged to be involved and educated on their own court cases. Rhett’s joy is Joan, his wife of 38 years, his two sons, Justin, and Jordan, and his three grandchildren Hyrum, Heber, and Hannah. Rhett and Joann currently reside in South Ogden and enjoy exploring the West in their travel trailer, mountain biking in the summer, and skiing in the winter.

Vicki Zollinger

disbursement and finance coordinator

With a background in medical billing and data organization, she assists our attorneys, paralegals and accounts payable to make sure settlements are paid out accurately and timely. This includes coordinating medical treatment balances, resolving health insurance or PIP liens, communicating with clients regarding the settlement process and processing case expenses.

When she’s not working, you’ll find her outdoors hiking, camping, birding, skiing or paddle boarding with her family, especially in national parks. She also volunteers in her community with school groups and her local animal shelter as a foster caregiver for dogs and cats.

Kelsey Zollinger

disbursement specialist

With her excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, she assists paralegals and attorneys to obtain and review any case related medical balances that would be paid out of their settlement. She also assists in the settlement disbursement process at any stage as needed. When she’s not working, she loves traveling with her family, playing the piano and graphic and interior design. Kelsey volunteers in her community with school groups, especially with school plays, and playing the piano for her church.

Dianet Linares

Dianet is our front desk receptionist and a current Business student at Utah Valley University. Dianet is always ready to greet visitors and assist with any needs upon arrival. She has a strong background in customer service and is dedicated to creating safe, welcoming spaces for others. She is passionate about helping and giving back to those in need and is committed to making everyone's day a little easier and more enjoyable. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is here to support you and your team.

Outside of work, Dianet enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.She stays active through sports and working out and also loves exploring her creative side, constantly brainstorming new ideas. Dianet is also involved in various Latinx community organizations, where she works to foster inclusivity and create safe spaces for all.
